Set among 17 acres of private bushland in Doonan, we offer an amazing respite experience. Including a huge home cinema, entertaining fire pit, four acres of fully fenced, manicured lawns, pool table, shed and loads of toys, games and activities to keep us busy!
Respite is available by request only as facilities and availability is limited.
From my experience, I strongly believe support is most effective over extended periods of time. This allows for stronger bonds to be built and a far greater impact on individuals growth and development.
My clients and families have seen a huge improvement in behaviours after spending time with me at Bonnie Doonan and they say the most obvious difference is seeing they actually WANT to go!

Q: How many nights can I stay?
A: 1- 2 nights is our general limit. We are open to discussing any requests outside of this guideline.
Q: Do you have hoists and ramps?
A: Unfortunately as the property is a residential home and Airbnb, we do not have the amenities to cater for high needs mobility at this stage.
Q: What support to participant ratios do you provide?
A: Depending on the needs of individuals, our respite is generally 1:1 support ration. This means one support worker per participant. On occasions we will provide up to 1:4 support ratio respite depending on the demand and clients individual requirements and NDIS plan provisions.
