Take a leisurely drive through the sunshine coast hinterland, through Kenilworth into the Conondale national park to the beautiful Booloumba falls. This journey has some exciting shallow creek crossings, fun stepping stone river crossing and crystal clear swimming holes. On the way we will stop to grab a famous delicious Kenilworth Bakery donut, play in the Playground, check out Maleny Dairies and anywhere you else you like to see. The water is fresh and beautifully refreshing swimming if you're brave.
5-8 Hours Day trip (1.5 hours max driving each way)
15 minute easy walk to Booloumba falls each way on cleared path
Toilet facilities not available at falls, but available at the base of the mountain (15 minutes drive from falls)
Lunch and Cold drinks provided
Bring: Swimmers, Towel, Shoes and change of clothes
Booloumba falls is closed in wet weather, however the creek and swimming holes are always accessible.

1 hour - Drive to Kenilworth Playground
20 mins - Grab a famous DONUT from the Kenilworth Bakery
20 mins - Drive to Camping area 1
30 mins - Cross the river walking over ‘Stepping stones’
20 mins - Drive up to Booloumba Falls Carpark
15 mins - Walk to Booloumba Falls (easy walking)
1.5 hour - Swim, relax and eat Lunch at Booloumba Falls
15 mins - Walk back to carpark from falls
1.5 hour - Relaxing Drive back home

Josh and I went on a day trip and picnic to the beautiful Booloumba creek. Josh was super excited to check out the old gold mine set into the hills and really enjoyed the short 3k hike through the bush trails. Josh was faced with some challenging river crossings that pushed him out of his comfort zone and he overcame his fears and discomfort on every occasion! GO JOSH!
Noosa North Shore / Double Island Point
Noosa North Shore / Double Island Point
Double island point is accessed by Noosa north shore ferry in Tewantin. We drive up the beach on the sand in a 4WD to then cross through the 'Cut in' to park up on the picturesque protected double island point beach to swim, relax and sunbathe. Activities include surfing, swimming, sand dune climbing, walk to the lighthouse, beach games and more. Don't stress we are experienced sand drivers and take safety seriously.
This Day trip takes between 3-8 hours and availability depends on the tide times as beach driving is best at low tide.
Packed lunch and cold drinks provided.
Toilet facilities are available at the destination.
Sunshade, seating and equipment provided.
Bring a towel, swimmers and a change of clothes.
This Adventure is also offered as a camping experience (toilet limited to portable chemical toilet)
